Instructions
  1. Blanch green beans in a pot of salted boiling water until bright green for about 2 minutes. Drain and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process and then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large sauté pan on medium heat add the oil, butter and the garlic and cook about a minute. Next, add in the green beans and continue to sauté and stir cooking about 5 minutes. Then add in the lemon juice, zest and season them with salt and pepper.
  3. Top the green beans with some parmesan cheese and serve! 🙂
