  1. In a large sauté pan add the butter and heat to medium- high heat, salt and pepper the chicken thighs on both sides and then add them to the pan and cook for about 3 minutes per side until browned.
  2. Next, transfer them to a baking dish with the extra virgin olive oil on the bottom. Then in the same sauté pan with the left over butter from cooking the chicken add the garlic and reduce the heat to low.
  3. Cook the garlic for about 2 minutes and then add in the honey, dried herbs, juice of the orange, brown sugar and cook for another 3 minutes. Last, pour the warm sauce over all the chicken thighs and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes - until juices run clear and it's done.
  4. Take the chicken out of the oven and top with the chives and parsley and serve immediately. This is by far one of my favorite chicken dishes of all time and my 13 year old daughter made this recipe with a little supervision from me and did great! 🙂
