  1. Place all the ingredients except the mushrooms and parsley into the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours - the last 2 hours add the mushrooms and add the brown rice ( until it is done ) and parsley or oregano at the end. Also, take out chicken pieces and shred the chicken with 2 forks and then put it back into the soup. Top with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
  2. This recipe is so easy and great for flu season! 🙂
