  1. In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients EXCEPT -the avocado and lime. Mix those ingredients with a whisk and put into the refrigerator until you are ready to mix it with the tuna. I make this earlier in the day and keep it cold until I'm ready to use it for the recipe. About and hour or so before you are ready to serve this dish, add the cubed tuna to the sauce and mix to combine - I only let this sit about an hour in the refrigerator then I serve it.
  2. Last thing to do before placing this on a serving platter is to cut the avocado into cubes and place it in a bowl - I squeeze about 1/2 lime juice over the avocado and toss to coat and then I add it to the tuna poke.
  3. I like to serve this with rice crackers, lettuce cups or all by itself it's so good! Enjoy!
