Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl add all the meatball ingredients EXCEPT the ground turkey and the mozzarella and mix well to combine. Next, add in the ground turkey last and mix - then put some of the mixture your hand and add the mozzarella to the middle and then add more meatball mixture and cover the cheese and roll into a ball.
  2. In a large sauté pan add the extra virgin olive oil and brown the meatballs for about 6 minutes. In a large pot add the marinara sauce and chicken broth and bring to a boil and then add in the meatballs and cook them in the sauce for about 45 minutes and serve!
  3. These are so delicious but light and I like to serve them with whole grain pasta. 🙂
